What Is SEO?

But what i thought of seo is that it is the set of strategies which are used to make a website/blog appears on the first page of search engines for the desired keyword.

Two Main Parts Of Seo         

ON Page Seo

On page seo is basically set of steps implemented on webpage to make your website as search engine friendly as well as targeting keywords at the same time.

These are the basics of ON PAGE SEO:

• Content on website must be unique.
• Meta tags, Title tag, should describe the content of your webpage accurately.
• Use alt tags for images. 
• And many other tips and techniques I will discuss later in this blog.

OFF Page SEO

It is the most important part of optimizing a website for hungry visitors looking for something. It compromises of total 90%-95% of an website seo strategies. Off page optimization mainly consists of backlinks. Read more about backlinks on Wikipedia.

Optimizing For Images                                 

Optimizing for images is not too much difficult as it sounds. These are key tips for optimizing images:

• Use alt tags for images
• Use title tag for images
• Insert caption in every image

Black hat vs White hat                                

Oh yeah this is a great topic to debate on. Black hat techniques are generally bad boy way of optimizing for search engines and are very powerful. But these techniques usually works only for a short period of time. Now white hat techniques, these are techniques which guaranteed to give you high search engine traffic but requires a lot of work.
